You all must be already knowing about Jackie Chan and his movie. We all must have seen his movies. You all must be having our list of Jackie Chan’s favorite movies. Jackie is Asia’s highest-paid actor. He was a stuntman before becoming an actor. When he was a stuntman he felt bad that other actors get credit for his stunt, so he promised himself that when he will become an actor, he will do his stunts and will never take credit for other’s work. So in all the movies of his, he did most of his stunt own and how got hurt very badly but he still keeps coming back and going on. It was very difficult to summarize all his work and make a list of only 10 movies and that too grade them. But I have still tried to do this impossible task. It’s my own opinion that may differ from others and most of these movies will be on your watch list already. So let’s get started.

10. Gorgeous 1999

It’s a Rom-com movie. Jackie Chan plays a millionaire businessman who falls in love with a cute common girl. The climax fight scene with Brad Allen is the most interesting and funny part of the movie. He goes head to head and toe to toe with Jackie Chan which is not an easy task.

9. Dragon Lord 1982

In this movie, Jackie Chan plays a notorious young teenager. Who by series of unfortunate events gets in trouble with a smuggling Gang. In this movie Jackie Chan is not a good fighter compared to other guys but how he still manages to beat the boss of that Gang. While watching the climax fight scene it feels like the fight is not choreographed it feels like Jackie Chan is just going with his instinct.

8. The Yong Master 1980

This movie is full of hilarious scenes. It feels like there is no dull moment in this movie either there is action, comedy, or action-comedy. The climax fight scene is the longest fight scene that I have ever seen. In this fight scenes, the antagonist is a better and experienced fighter the only advantage the Jackie Had was young and energetic so he tries to get him tired and then fighting back.

7. The Drunken Master 2 1994

The interesting thing about this movie is the crazy stunt and the fighting style that Jackie Chan introduced in this movie. To fight Jackie Chan needs to consume alcohol but in limit otherwise, if he consumes more alcohol, he won’t be able to fight. In the climax fight scene, Jackie Chan falls in burning coal. In which Jackie Chan’s eyebrow bone got hurt, there was a risk of Jackie Chan losing his sight. It took 4 months to shoot the climax fight scene which is of 7 minutes.

6. Twin Dragons 1992

If you thought one Jackie Chan was funny then this movie has two Jackie Chan which is hilarious. Like most of the Jackie Chan movies, it has humor and action. But what makes it difficult from other movies is the dual role that Jackie Chan plays in this movie. One is ‘Boomer’ who is tough and a fighter who gets into trouble with his friend Tyson and the other one is John Ma who is a simple but famous musician.

5. Who Am I? 1998

In this movie, Jackie Chan plays a spy who had lost his memory and is trying to find who he is. On his way to recovering his memory, he comes across a plot about a weapon that can be used for destruction. The plot is interesting and engaging and the action is what you expect from Jackie Chan’s movie. In the Climax fight scene, he takes down two tough fighters in his style.

4. Police Story Series 1985, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2004 and 2013

This is the movie that established Jackie Chan as a leading action star. There are many stunts performed by Jackie Chan and his team, which are still jaw-dropping in comparison to today’s standard also. From my point of view, they all are equally good.

3. Project A and Project A-2 1983, 1987

In this movie, all three action stars collaborated Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung, and Jackie Chan, who are also good friends in real life? In the climax fight scene, they all take down a single protagonist. This movie is also famous for a stunt in which Jackie Chan falls from a three-story building thrice. In the last scene, he landed on his face but still, the camera was rolling. Such a level of perfection Jackie Chan has. Project A-2 is also good but I missed Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, Jackie Chan’s co-star from the previous movie. But in terms of story and action, it is funnier than the previous one.

2. City Hunter 1993

This Movie is based on a Japanese Anime of the same name. It is full of humor, comedy scenes, and action. I can guarantee that you won’t disappointed or bored with this movie even you watch it any number of times. This movie is also known for his fight scene which gives a tribute to a ‘Street Fighter’ video game.

1. Armor of God 1 and 2 1986, 1991

The top place goes to the Armour of God. The first is alone very good but the second is insane. It’s full of crazy stunts. Both this movie has not been a good experience for Jackie Chan because he was severely injured during the filming of these movies.
